Dr. Julie Bishop joined the OSU Sports Medicine orthopedic staff in 2005. She specializes in treating disorders of the shoulder and elbow as well as all sports-related injuries. In particular, she is a sub-specialist in all disorders in the shoulder, including complex and revision type surgeries. She uses advanced open and arthroscopic surgical techniques to restore damaged joints, ligaments, and bones. Dr. Bishop has published extensively in the field of shoulder surgery, including multiple book chapters and scientific articles. She is currently involved in several shoulder-related clinical and basic science research projects.
